A bad bounce, off the tape, and you lose your bet by a few centimetres. Don’t let your finger hit the bet button again too quickly. Take a moment to think and read.
Tennis can get pretty intense, especially near month-end when things are tight. You might start off with just one bet and then suddenly find yourself with six more. Set aside the full amount you’re willing to spend in one go, covering everything you need. Even if all you’ve got is R84 left, stick to it.
Tennis is a great sport because it gives you plenty of natural stopping points to take a break from betting. Whether the game is over, the players switch sides, or a whole set is completed, remember to use that chance to recheck what you spent so far.
One point can change the price
On the YesPlay site, live tennis is broken down by categories, like ATP, WTA, WTA 125K, Challenger, and UTR Men. On top of that, you can use the filters to easily find matches that are happening now or in the next one, three, or even twelve hours. If you want to check out tennis, you can find it at https://yesplay.bet/sports/live/tennis.
The main screen usually displays the match result, total games, and game handicap. The match result shows who got to take the trophy home. Total games sees whether the points scored will be above or below a quoted line. A Game Handicap is when one player gets an advantage at the very beginning of the count.
Set a month-end limit
· The prices of bets in live tennis can change at any second, especially when players are serving. If your limit is R21 and you’re allowed to bet four times, then that’s it. It doesn’t matter if the underdog suddenly starts saving break points all of a sudden.
· If a player retires or gets removed from the game, all bets that didn’t get decided will be voided. And if a single game ends up in a tie-break, it’ll be counted as a single game for Games markets. Plus, keep in mind that the match tie-break is considered the final third set and won’t be counted for Tie-Break markets.
· Always double-check. Score, market, amount used, and rule. If the next bet still fits your budget, go ahead. If it doesn’t seem right, just skip that bet and save the money for next game without feeling any pressure.
